The weather was overcast and drizzly. We spend the first weekend shopping and visiting the MIT campus.
We shopped for the trip essentials such as the US phone numbers, T-passes for the Boston area public transport, clothing and shoes for the next stages of the trip where we expect quite variable weather.
We also did a dry-run for the walk to the MIT building where Ali’s Java programming course will be.
On Sunday evening our hosts dropped by to pick up their mail. We had a very pleasant conversation about their extensive world travels.
